Oracle announced on October 6th that the new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications Release 9.2 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2 are now GA.
With this new release JD Edwards EnterpriseOne maintains its position as a leading ERP open-systems platform offering customers a choice of many different technology options as well as deployment options: on-premise or hybrid deployment, private cloud, and public clouds.
In a recent interview that appeared in Profit magazine, Lyle Ekdahl said, “Customers want us to help them become more agile, to help them speed their time to value and make it easier for them to innovate. We also want to make it increasingly possible for our customers to create new value, whether they are offering new products or services.â€
He also went on to say, “The first step is to recognize the huge changes in technology and the innovations that are possible when applying those technologies to the new problems and opportunities created by the changes that have gone on, more broadly, with the global economy”. In 9.2 we see this vision put into action.
