Oracle JD Edwards Roadmap and What’s New in Release 25

Oracle has reaffirmed its commitment to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 by extending its Premier Support until at least December 2035. This ensures users will continue to receive technical support, updates and new functionality during that period.

It was way back in 2018, when Oracle first announced the concept of a 10-year rolling window for JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 Premier Support, providing assurance and confidence for those wishing to leverage the deep functionality by add initiatives into their Strategic Goals without fear of the vendor dropping the ERP at short notice.

Looking closer at Release 25

Not only have they stood by their commitment, but continually invested in developing the technology, functionality and end user experience.

None more so, than Release 25, announced in October 2024.

We’ve captured a few here and will cover in more depth on the day – once we’ve listened to our customers preferences for a deeper dive.

• Enterprise Automation Enhancements
• Order to Cash Integration with Warehouse
• Procure to Pay Integration with Warehouse

Both these enable the creation of process flows utilising the real time data being captured in those large JDE tables. This data capture facilitates improvements to task management; enhancements to visibility at key stages of the process, allowing the identification of process dwells/bottlenecks.

• Sustainability Initiatives
• Simplification of the collection of environmental data, such as fuel consumption from stationary sources, directly from your JDE transactions.
• User Experience Enhancements

A consistent feature in each Release. This time Oracle have focused on:
